CHICAGO, IL – August 25, 2025 – GoldStreet Partners is proud to announce the upcoming opening of two exciting new concepts from Michael Chen and Kylin Hospitality at 121 W. Hubbard Street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The nearly 9,000-square-foot space—formerly home to Vinyl and vacant for nearly a decade—will be transformed into Tarra, a Thai fine dining restaurant on the main level, and Sura, a cocktail lounge on the lower level. Both venues are set to open by the end of this year.
Michael Chen, founder of Kylin Hospitality, is no stranger to River North’s dining scene. His group successfully launched Kyuramen at 6 W. Hubbard nearly three years ago, which quickly became a neighborhood favorite and helped revitalize the corner of Hubbard and State. With Tarra and Sura, Chen introduces two highly anticipated concepts poised to energize the intersection of Hubbard and LaSalle.
