CHICAGO (September 15, 2025) — Chicago’s beloved late-night slice shop, Dimo’s Pizza, has officially reopened in Logan Square at 2246–48 N. Milwaukee Avenue, marking an exciting new chapter for the independent pizza brand. The move comes after the closing of Dimo’s long-standing Wicker Park location, which had served as a neighborhood staple since 2013.

The new Logan Square restaurant opened its doors on Friday, September 5, in the former Victory Grill space. Dimo’s founder and owner, Dimitri Syrkin-Nikolau, who also operates locations in Wrigleyville, Lincoln Square, and a Downtown food hall, said the decision was shaped by rising rents in Wicker Park and the opportunity to partner with trusted local operators.

“It’s great to be close to the nightlife in a building owned by a former local operator, we couldn’t be happier with our new home.”

said Syrkin-Nikolau, Founder of Dimo’s Pizza.

The Logan Square property is owned by Diamond Properties, whose family portfolio includes Chicago favorites such as Hollywood Grill in Wicker Park and White Palace Grill in the South Loop.

“The Liakopoulos and Laskaris families are proud to welcome Dimo’s Pizza to Logan Square; Dimo’s is a true Chicago brand, and that authenticity is exactly what the neighborhood deserves”

said George Liakopoulos of Diamond Properties

Dimo’s Pizza is celebrated for its inventive slices, irreverent personality, and strong community ties. Beyond pizza, Syrkin-Nikolau has broadened his hospitality portfolio with Marilyn’s, an upscale wine and cocktail bar in Lakeview, and Winnie’s, a gastropub in Old Town.

The expansion into Logan Square is being recognized as both a smart business move and a cultural win for the neighborhood.

“Dimitri will fit in perfectly in Logan Square; He built a tremendous following in Wicker Park that will naturally extend here, and we’re excited to see that energy continue to grow in this community.”

— said David Goldberg, CEO and Founder of Goldstreet Partners.

The relocation reinforces Dimo’s commitment to staying a Chicago-grown, independent brand, while strengthening its presence in some of the city’s most creative, dynamic communities.
